Parents & Players,

Thank you for trusting us to train your athletes this Winter.  We enjoyed the experience and feel strongly that is was a positive program for the athletes that attended.  Developing strength, agility and acceleration is a worthwhile endeavor, but it takes time and energy and commitment.  You should be extremely proud of your athlete for making such a strong commitment to this program and sport.  

We look forward to working with your athletes again in the near future!  

Please see the info below with specific details on the Advanced Functional Training Program for next winter.  I anticipate a high return rate and want to make sure that our athletes and their families have access to this information as soon as possible.  I do not plan to advertise this program in the near future as I am expecting word of mouth and returning participants to take up the majority of the open slots for next winter.

After completing our first winter of Functional Training for Lacrosse, we are excited to announce our second season.

During the winter of 2017-2018 we trained 24 athletes at our American Lacrosse Academy Fitness Studio and Turf. The training environment was outstanding and our players made incredible gains in strength, quickness and acceleration.

We are excited to announce a slightly longer program for the 2018-2019 winter season, available as a a 40 session, 14 week package or divided into two 20 session, 7 week programs.

Please see the details below.  This program WILL NOT be advertised immediately (except by word of mouth),  but it is highly likely that it will be sold out months in advance of the start date.  We anticipate the majority of our athletes returning for these sessions and expect to have very few openings for new players.

Functional Strength & Movement for Lacrosse- The Ultimate Pre-Season Lacrosse Speed, Strength and Agility Program w/ Roy Colsey & CJ Fleming

 

Description: This is an intensive, 3 day a week program designed for dedicated lacrosse players looking to enter the Spring season in the best possible physical condition for their Spring season.  This program will improve all areas of their physical condition while improving overall body strength, acceleration, agility and flexibility.  The program is broken down into 3 specific days, each having an overall focus that greatly compliments the other days of the training cycle.

 

ENROLLMENT IS EXTREMELY LIMITED! OPEN TO PLAYERS IN GRADES 7-12

 

***IMPORTANT***This is a serious, high-level training program.  We are going to work hard for 90 minutes a day and make tremendous progress.  Please do not register for this program if you don’t think your player will enjoy working hard 3 X a week towards the specific goal of getting ready for the Spring lacrosse season! 

 

  • Mondays: Linear Acceleration/Upper Body Strength/Core/Rolling & Repair

 

  • Wednesdays: Lateral Agility/Lower Body Strength/Core/Rolling & Repair

 

  • Fridays: Diagonal Movement/ Rotational Strength/ Lacrosse Specific Movement with Stick (Helmet & Gloves Required) FRIDAYS are our FUN day….lots of competition, races and games!
